Kudos: Arkansas Businesses Receive Recognition

  • Fayetteville’s Mitchell Communications Group Inc. has been named one of the 50 fastest-growing women-owned or led companies in North America by the Women Presidents’ Organization in partnership with American Express Open. The company was also named the 2012 Small Agency of the Year by The Holmes Report, which provides information about the public relations industry.
  • Little Rock’s Diamond Bear Brewing Co. has been chosen to participate in Savor, an American craft beer event held in Washington, D.C., in June. This is the second year the brewery has participated in the event.
  • Ouachita Baptist University’s Office of Communications recently received five awards from the Baptist Communicators Association, including first place for "Discover Ouachita," a music video providing an overview of campus life. The Office of Communications has also received two awards from Higher Education Marketing, including an award of merit for "Ouachita Voices," which features essays from Ouachita presidents, alumni, trustees and graduates.
