Laura Gillenwater has been named assistant vice president of revenue cycle at Unity Health. She has more than 13 years of experience in health care finance, reimbursement and advisory.
Kalena Jones has been hired as system director of Arkansas Health and Opportunity for Me at Baptist Health of Little Rock. She previously served as regional group administrator at DaVita.
Dr. Vivek Malhotra has been hired at the hospital medicine group at Washington Regional of Fayetteville. Malhotra earned his medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Campus.
Dr. Brian Langford, who specializes in urologic reconstruction, joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Department of Surgery’s trauma division as an assistant professor. Langford received his medical degree from UAMS, where he also completed a general surgery internship and urology residency. He received advanced training in urologic trauma, reconstruction and prosthetics through a fellowship at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
