Lawrence Greiten Shows Heart for UAMS, ACH (Movers & Shakers)

Dr. Lawrence Greiten has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine as a cardiothoracic surgeon.

Greiten will practice at Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s Heart Center in Little Rock.

He attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson and completed his general surgery and adult cardiothoracic training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, as well as a congenital cardiac surgery fellowship at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.


Dr. Guy Peeples has joined the medical staff at Baptist Health Surgical & Specialty Clinic in Conway.

Before joining Baptist Health, Peeples worked as a general surgeon at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center’s General & Specialty Surgical Clinic in Harrison.

He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama.
