Steven Le has been hired by HFA Architecture + Engineering of Bentonville as senior grocery and retail lead.

Scott Thornsberry has been promoted to office executive-Little Rock at Michael Baker International of Pittsburgh. Thornsberry will oversee the Little Rock office’s daily operations.

Jessica Sorg

Jessica Sorg has been promoted to vice president-life insurance operations at Legacy Capital Wealth Partners of Little Rock.

Stacey Marlar has been promoted to director of product at Southern Bancorp Bank of Arkadelphia. In addition, Scott Smith was promoted to director of payments.

Mindy Hindmarsh has been promoted to vice president, secondary mortgage originator at First Community Bank of Batesville. Hindmarsh works out of First Community’s Cabot branch.

Rebekah Guiltner has been promoted to executive vice president, director of risk management and audit at FNBC Bank of Ash Flat.

Gay Schwer has been hired at Stone Bank of Mountain View as vice president and business development officer. Schwer specializes in government-guaranteed loans and will be headquartered in St. Louis.

Ryan Barnard has been hired at First Service Bank of Greenbrier as financial analyst and audit coordinator. In addition, Sydney Wertz was promoted to assistant branch manager at the bank’s Greenbrier location.

Tony Wallace has been promoted to quality director at Lexicon Inc. of Little Rock. Lexicon also hired Justin Fraser as a quality director to oversee its fabrication group and the energy services division.

Education

Sarah Jane Rhoads

Sarah Jane Rhoads, currently a professor and chair of the Department of Community & Population Health in the College of Nursing at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, will be the next dean of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing in Little Rock, effective Sept. 1. She’ll replace Patricia Cowan, who is retiring after a nearly 40-year career in nursing, including a decade leading the College of Nursing.

Bryan Fisher has been named the next vice president for advancement at Arkansas Tech University of Russellville and the executive vice president of the ATU Foundation. Fisher, an ATU alumnus, has served as interim vice president for advancement since December.

Energy

Jonathon Rasburry

Jonathon Rasburry has been hired by the Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation of Little Rock as administrator of the Commercial Property Assessed Capital Expenditures Program, which is designed to finance projects centered on energy efficiency, alternative energy, building resiliency and water conservation.

Government

Joseph “Joe” Bailey has been named the next executive director of the Arkansas Waterways Commission of Little Rock. He succeeds Cassandra Caldwell, who has served in the role since 2020.

Elise Rippelmeyer has been hired as an advanced practice registered nurse at the Washington Regional Neurology Clinic of Fayetteville.

Liz Harris

Liz Harris has joined the labor and employment practice group at Friday Eldredge & Clark of Little Rock.

Will Dawson

Will Dawson has joined Rainwater Holt & Sexton of Little Rock as an attorney.

Laken Rudelis has been hired at Media & More Consulting of North Little Rock as a marketing and social media coordinator.

Todd Curtis

Todd Curtis, president and owner of PVF Industrial Supply in Little Rock, has been appointed to the Birch Tree Communities board of directors. It is a nonprofit, behavioral health program that provides rehabilitative treatment and housing for adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

Scott Jones has been hired at Attorney’s Title Group of Little Rock as the operational closing support manager, overseeing all aspects of business operations across all of the firm’s locations.

Samantha Lewis has been named vice president of finance and treasury for Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp. and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives Inc. of Little Rock.
