A former leader at the Clinton Foundation is returning after five years away, and that means the Baptist Health Foundation will lose its top executive.

Lena Hayes next month will start her second stint at the Clinton Foundation, this time as chief of philanthropy and partnerships in Arkansas.

Hayes left her role in 2019 as deputy executive director at the Clinton Foundation after 16 years at the organization to lead Baptist Health Foundation as chief development officer.

“It is an exciting time at the Clinton Presidential Center, as we mark 20 years of impact and plan for a modernization and expansion,” said Stephanie S. Streett, executive director of the Clinton Foundation. “Lena Hayes previously played an integral role at the Clinton Foundation for more than 15 years and recently has served as a remarkably effective leader for the Baptist Health Foundation. I’m thrilled Lena is returning to the Clinton Center to lead our efforts to build the partnerships and marshal the resources we’ll need to achieve our ambitious goals to deepen our impact for the next 20 years.”
