Lindsey Spears Joins Medical Assets Holding Co. as Director of Business Development (Movers & Shakers)

Lindsey Spears has been named director of sales and business development by Medical Assets Holding Co. of Little Rock. With more than a decade of experience serving seniors in the health care industry, Spears will assist with marketing and business development for MAHC’s Fox Ridge Senior Living Communities in Bryant, North Little Rock and west Little Rock, as well as Parkstone Place in North Little Rock and Gardens of Somerset in Sterlington, Louisiana.

Ashley Fulks (Baptist Health)

Ashley Fulks, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, has been hired at Baptist Health Behavioral Services Clinic-Little Rock. A native of Hazen, Fulks received her education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and Chamberlain University of Addison, Illinois. She is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Dr. Subhi Al’Aref, a cardiologist, is one of six current physicians at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences who have been recognized as Healthcare Research All-Stars for 2024 by Avant-garde Health of Boston. Drs. C. Lowry BarnesJeffrey Stambough and Benjamin Stronach were recognized as All-Stars among hip and knee surgeons. Gastroenterologist Dr. Sumant Inamdar and Emmanouil Giorgakis, a general and transplant surgeon, were recognized, as were former UAMS gastroenterologists Drs. Shashank Garg and Benjamin Tharian and former UAMS hip and knee surgeon Dr. Simon Mears. To be included as an All-Star, physicians and hospitals had to be among the top 5% of those who publish leading-edge health care research.
