The Little Rock Regional Chamber announced Tuesday the launch of the inaugural Multicultural Business Development Month, an initiative aimed at celebrating diversity, fostering economic growth and supporting minority-owned businesses in the Little Rock community.
The month will feature a variety of events, educational programs and networking opportunities in hopes to empower diverse entrepreneurs and promote an inclusive business environment in the city. Through this initiative, the Little Rock Chamber aims to highlight the contributions of multicultural businesses and provide resources to support local businesses.
The month-long event will culminate at the 42nd annual Minority Enterprise Development Awards Luncheon. The event will honor minority-owned businesses and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation and commitment to the community.
Events throughout the month include a proclamation from Mayor Frank Scott Jr. to launch the initiative, business workshops and seminars, networking events, a pitch competition hosted by Apptegy and the Minority Enterprise Development Awards Luncheon.
