Little Rock Eye Clinic Sees Two New Hires (Movers & Shakers)

Dr. Jennifer Doyle and Dr. Laurie Barber have joined Little Rock Eye Clinic.

Doyle is a neuro-ophthalmologist, and Barber is a comprehensive ophthalmologist in the dry eye clinic.


Dr. Gene Jines has been appointed director of the Center for Dental Education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he had been associate director for the past year.

A dentist since 1975, Jines succeeds longtime dental college dean Dr. William F. Slagle, who is now associate director of the center.


Dr. Aravind Rao, a cardiologist, and Deborah Meiklejohn, a registered nurse at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, were recognized for best poster presentation at the recent STEMI Conference in Dallas.
