Tempus Realty Partners of Little Rock paid $65 million for Transplace’s headquarters in Rogers.
Tempus bought the property through its real estate investment trust Tempus Evergreen Fund. The property is a three-story, 148,200-SF building on 16 acres just east of Interstate 49.
“This property is an excellent fit for Tempus Evergreen’s objectives of long-term growth and income from top tier assets,” Tempus Realty Partners CEO Dan Andrews said. “The combination of property, location and tenant quality make this an outstanding centerpiece for Tempus Evergreen.”
Transplace, a transportation management and logistics subsidiary of Uber Freight, moved its Arkansas operations to the location in July 2021. Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the building.
The seller of the property was real estate development company Cawley Partners of Dallas.
“It’s been a pleasure to work with the team at Transplace over the past 3 years,” CEO Bill Cawley said. “Developing a project of this nature mid-pandemic presented its challenges, but Transplace was a great partner as we all navigated toward completion.”
