2 min read

Arkansas Business Publishing Group of Little Rock (ABPG) announced Monday that Sandra McGrew and Amanda Hoelzeman would take on new roles at Little Rock Soirée, Little Rock’s premier city magazine.

In her new role, Hoelzeman, former managing editor of Little Rock Soirée, will oversee the magazine and management of the publication. McGrew, the magazine’s new editor-in-chief, will oversee the direction of the Little Rock Soirée brand, and specifically the magazine’s new online division.

“We’re thrilled to announce the new Soirée editorial team,” said Olivia Farrell, publisher of Little Rock Soirée and CEO and chairman of ABPG.

“Amanda brings an excellent knowledge of Little Rock Soirée and experience in publication management that has been essential to the success of Soirée through the years, and I am proud to name her as the editor of the magazine. Sandra brings a diverse and unique experience in communications, writing and the web that will lead Soirée into the future.”

Currently serving as the managing editor of Little Rock Soirée, Hoelzeman’s promotion is not her first since joining ABPG as the company’s marketing coordinator in 2006. She began as the associate editor of the publishing group’s consumer publications division and was responsible for titles such as Arkansas Bride, Guest Guide to Greater Little Rock, Arkansas Green Guide and Arkansas Next: A Guide to Life After High School. Before joining ABPG, Hoelzeman was the assistant editor of Network Communication’s At Home in Arkansas.

McGrew is the public information officer for the Arkansas Insurance Department in Little Rock, and a contributor to Lucky Magazine. Before this, she was the public affairs coordinator for the Arkansas Secretary of State, a contributing writer for Arkansas Life and Talk Business and a reporter for KLRT-TV, Channel 16, in Little Rock. She also blogs on fashion and personal style at her website, Little Rock Big Style. She has a bachelor’s degree in electronic media from Harding University.

“I am so honored and excited to take on this new role,” McGrew said. “I look forward to working with the fabulous team at Soirée and can’t wait to get started!”
