Tech Park Eyes Options After The Croissanterie Exits

Although Little Rock Technology Park Executive Director Brent Birch is not yet sure what will replace The Croissanterie on the ground floor of the downtown building, he said he’s evaluating “all kinds of different options to fill that spot.”

The space has been operated by a few different tenants, including The Paranoid Android, and before that, Blue Sail Coffee of Conway. Birch said the goal is to get something new in the space, but he’s still working on what it will look like going forward.

“It’s kind of a bummer, because it creates a different dynamic when that is there,” Birch said. “The goal is to get someone in there, and it might be that we operate it, not a third party.”

After one year, the Croissanterie left the downtown space to focus on its new west Little Rock location.

“It’s tough,” Birch said. “We really appreciated them as tenants, but we’re going to try to replace it.”
