The Log Cabin Democrat in Conway last month hired Whit Jones to serve as managing editor of the daily newspaper.
Jones replaced Phillip Lamb, who returned to Tulsa in December after about a nine-month stint as editor of the Conway paper.
Jones most recently operated InsideSaline.com and is a former editor of the Saline Courier at Benton.
The Log Cabin has an average daily circulation of 7,052.
