The Peacock Group of Little Rock has hired Madeline Roberts, former Pulaski County director of communications, as public relations manager in its growing strategic communications team.

In her PR career, Roberts has worked in media relations, crisis communications and executive communication in various government and higher education jobs.

At The Peacock Group, Roberts will oversee strategic PR campaigns, create and carry out PR planning, and develop programs for the agency’s clients. She will also be an important resource for the agency’s crisis communications and issues management services.

“We are thrilled to welcome Madeline to our team,” said Denver Peacock, the firm’s founder and principal. “She brings a wealth of knowledge that will elevate our capabilities and reinforce our commitment to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

“We look forward to the innovative solutions and fresh perspectives Madeline will bring to our team as we continue to grow and evolve,” Peacock said in a statement.

Before serving as Pulaski County’s spokesperson, Roberts worked for Lyon College as the executive director of strategic marketing and communication. She led the college’s communications unit and oversaw its COVID 19 pandemic response.

Roberts is now vice president of the Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, as well as a member of the Family Promise of Pulaski County board. She’s also an adviser on Camp Aldersgate’s PR committee.

Roberts is a Little Rock native with a bachelor’s degree in English with a journalism concentration from Lyon College and a master’s in applied communication from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations, or APR, in 2021.
