
Mary Grace Herrington has been appointed president and CEO of the Girl Scouts-Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma & Texas of Little Rock. Herrington, who will be based in the Rogers office, succeeds Dawn Prasifka, who retired after 12 years with the organization.
Herrington most recently served as the director of development at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville. Prior to that, she was the director of development at the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Herrington has other experiences in fundraising and nonprofit leadership roles in higher education and public media, including as vice president of development at the Forté Foundation of Austin, Texas, and as executive director of Iowa Public Radio of Des Moines, Iowa. She also has served as a board member of the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa and maintains her Certified Fund Raising Executive certification.
Herrington earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master’s degree in public administration from Drake University in Des Moines. She earned First Class, the highest Girl Scout Award, equivalent to today’s Gold Award, and is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of the USA.
