Matt Twyford Promoted to Senior Position at AEDC (Movers & Shakers)

Matt Twyford has been named senior agency manager for community development at the Arkansas Economic Development Commission in Little Rock.

Twyford has worked as a regional manager for the AEDC since March 2014 and in his time with the commission has served as the primary point of contact between the AEDC and Arkansas communities.


Michael Green has been promoted to bank exam manager by the Arkansas State Bank Department in Little Rock, and John Bernard Maus has been hired as a trainee bank examiner, also in the Little Rock office.

Green has been with the department for more than 18 years and holds the designation of certified fraud examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Maus joined in January 2018 and previously worked for Farmers & Merchants Bank in Fayetteville.


Dennis Whittaker of Little Rock has been named the chair of the board of directors of the Southern Municipal Finance Society and a member of the board of governors of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.

Whittaker graduated from the University of Arkansas and is a member of the Fixed Income Analysts Society.
