Little Rock registered investment advisory and wealth management firm Legacy Capital announced the hiring of Matthew Koll.

In a news release, Legacy said Koll brings expertise in tax strategy, investment management, estate planning, risk management and asset protection to the firm. Koll joins Brian Wood, who spearheaded Legacy’s expansion to northwest Arkansas in 2023.

Prior to joining Legacy, Koll was a trust and wealth adviser at Arvest Bank of Fayetteville. He’s a U.S. Navy veteran who serves as the president of the St. Vincent de Paul School Board, a member of the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and as an active participant in the Mercy Foundation’s planned giving committee.

“Matthew’s addition to our team underscores our commitment to providing the highest level of advice and services to our clients in Northwest Arkansas,” Matt Jones, president of Legacy, said in the release. “His extensive experience and dedication to serving others aligns perfectly with Legacy’s core values. We are excited to have him on board to help us continue our mission of guiding our clients toward achieving their financial goals.”

Legacy has more than $1.2 billion in assets under management and advisement and more than $2.5 billion of in-force life insurance.
