We thought we stumbled across a whopper of a real estate transaction: $3.1 million for a nearly 1-acre, undeveloped commercial site in Benton.
That equates to a jaw-dropping $74.50 per SF.
An insider informs us that the number is really, really wrong.
Although the deed clearly bears a $3.1 million valuation, we’re told the outparcel at the Hickory Square Shopping Center closed at around $14 per SF. That cyphers out to about $585,000.
We understand the site at 17060 Interstate 30 Frontage Road will become home to a Bridgestone Tire Center.
