McClard’s Bar-B-Q in Hot Springs will open a location in Rogers on April 1.
McClard’s opened in 1928 and had been run by the McClard family before being sold in 2020. In June, Lee Beasley bought the legendary restaurant; Beasley owns several restaurants in Hot Springs.
The Rogers’ McClard’s will be on West Pauline Whitaker Parkway just west of Interstate 49. The restaurant said it is its first expansion since opening in 1928, although McClard’s does operate a food truck in Little Rock.
“After years of requests, we’re thrilled to finally bring McClard’s Bar-B-Q to northwest Arkansas,” said General Manager Jilliam Hamm. “Our delta-style tamales and on-site, slow-smoked barbecue is guaranteed to be a new taste experience for Rogers and surrounding areas.”
The restaurant will have its traditional menu items but also serve brunch and cater events.
