McClelland Consulting Engineers will move its Little Rock offices to 7302 Kanis Road in August, real estate brokerage firm Irwin Partners of Little Rock announced Thursday.
The company is moving from its office at 900 W. Markham St. The new location will be the company’s new corporate headquarters; its Fayetteville office will not be affected by the change.
The move absorbs about 19,000-SF of space most recently occupied by Vestcom International Inc. of Little Rock. Vestcom, an in-store marketing technologies provider, moved into more than 37,000 SF in the One Cantrell building at 2800 Cantrell Road last year.
McClelland is one of the state’s largest regional civil engineering firms with offices in Arkansas and Oklahoma. It provides geotechnical engineering, landscape architecture, environmental laboratory analysis, construction observation, construction materials testing and land surveying.
“This is not only a significant development for our firm, it is yet another step in the revitalization of the Midtown area of Little Rock,” Byron Hicks, McClelland’s CEO, said in a news release.
Hicks cited the new CARTI facility, CVS Pharmacy and Staybridge Suites and other projects in the area and said the company is “very pleased that we will be part of that redeveloping area.”
