Place was promoted to assistant vice president of human resources. Schwartz was promoted to credit officer. Korte has joined Relyance Bank as its business development officer for central Arkansas. She previously worked at the American Cancer Society as a community developer and was executive director of Riverfest for 13 years.

Melissa Kempkes

Melissa Kempkes will serve as vice president of Natural Capital in Little Rock. She will work from the Little Rock office.

Kempkes, who previously was the investment portfolio manager at i2E in Oklahoma City, will work alongside Brad Henry, Natural Capital’s managing partner, to invest in impactful opportunities in Arkansas.
