McPike Named SVP at First Security Bank in Jonesboro (Movers & Shakers)

John McPike has been promoted to senior vice president at First Security Bank’s main banking center in Jonesboro.

McPike, a graduate of Arkansas State University and Barrett Graduate School of Banking, has worked in the banking industry for 12 years, the past seven as a vice president and loan officer at First Security in Jonesboro.


UCA

Josh Simer, an assistant professor of accounting, is one of five new members of the faculty in the College of Business at the University of Central Arkansas at Conway. He was formerly an instructor at the University of Mississippi, where he will complete his doctorate in accountancy this fall.

Jacob Bundrick is a lecturer of economics in the Department of Economics, Finance & Insurance & Risk Management, where Collin Hodges is a visiting assistant professor of economics.

Bundrick is a UCA graduate who earned a master’s degree in applied economics at Johns Hopkins University and most recently worked as a policy analyst for the Arkansas Center for Research in Economics at UCA. Hodges comes to UCA from West Virginia University, where he earned a doctorate.

Chris Tuggle has joined the Department of Marketing & Management as an assistant professor of management. He previously worked at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Missouri’s Trulaske College of Business.

Mike Casey is a new assistant professor in the Department of Management Information Systems. He earned a doctorate in computer and information science this year from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.


Sara Christie has been promoted to security customer relationship manager at Mainstream Technologies in Little Rock.

She previously worked with Career Staffing Services for three years.
