Medical practice management software provider MedEvolve Inc. of Little Rock has appointed Matt Seefeld as president and CEO.
Matt Rolfes, who had been CEO since 2017, will shift to a role as CFO.
Seefeld joined MedEvolve in 2017. He most recently served as the company’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, a role in which he oversaw all go-to-market strategy and revenue operations.
In a news release, the company said Seefeld was behind the launch of its Effective Intelligence software, which integrates AI into medical analytics solutions. Those products help health care companies track and measure every action in claim evaluation, with the goal of reducing inefficiencies and increasing accountability in the revenue cycle.
“The ability to track every touch in the revenue cycle and reduce wasted work effort is no longer an option; it’s a requirement for sustainable healthcare businesses,” Seefeld said in the release. “I look forward to continuing to work with our incredible team to drive new innovations and expand our vision across the industry.”
Seefeld has more than 25 years of experience in health care consulting and technology development. Prior to MedEvolve, he founded health care software and services firm Interpoint Partners LLC, which was acquired by Streamline Health Inc., of Alpharetta, Georgia, in 2011 for $5 million.
He also worked in consulting roles at PwC, Deloitte and Stockamp & Associates of Chicago, Illinois.
