Crews & Associates of Little Rock, the investment banking subsidiary of Searcy-based First Security Bancorp, announced that Megan Slattery of Houston has joined the firm as senior vice president of institutional sales.
Slattery is based in Houston. Slattery has been an investment advisor since 2012 and brings expertise in special district finance. Crews & Associates said she specializes in delivering technical and quantitative investment advice to a diverse array of investors, including retail, institutional and governmental clients of all sizes.
In her new role, which began in June, Slattery focuses on municipal bonds for institutional and retail investors. She works with investors whose portfolios range from $100,000 to $100 million.
Most of these clients work with her on high yield municipal bonds — including Texas special district bonds — as well as all traditional municipal offerings.
Slattery holds a bachelor’s in business administration in marketing from Texas A&M University.
