Melissa Creameans Named Family Nurse Practitioner at Unity Health (Movers & Shakers)

Melissa Creameans has joined Unity Health-Family Practice Associates in Searcy. Creameans graduated as a nurse practitioner from the University of Central Arkansas and has worked as a nurse for Unity Health for more than 18 years.

Scott Cook has been hired as the information technology director of Pediatrics Plus in Little Rock. Cook graduated from Arkansas Tech University and was previously the vice president, chief information officer and IT director at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville.

Amar Kanekar of Little Rock has been awarded the National Society for Public Health Education presidential citation. Kanekar has over 11 years of teaching experience, having taught more than 25 courses on public health, health education and health promotion, and currently works as associate professor and graduate coordinator of health education and health promotion at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
