Metova Acquires New Tech

1 min read

Metova, a tech services and app development firm with offices in Conway, Cabot and Fayetteville, has acquired some impressive new technology.

The firm, based in Franklin, Tennessee, announced that it had purchased Camber Corp.’s Cyber Operations Enhanced Network & Training Simulator and SLAM-R Cyber Range technology for an undisclosed price.

The new tech is used to train “cyber professionals” to defend computer networks and evaluate new equipment and operating procedures. It is used throughout the U.S. Department of Defense. In October, Metova won a $45 million DOD contract to support cyberspace and electronic warfare efforts for the U.S. Army Cyber Battle Lab.

“Metova is excited about this addition within our cyber portfolio and looks forward to new offerings and capabilities for our federal and commercial clients seeking to thwart the growing threat of cyber attacks,” said Metova CEO John Adams.

Metova grew its Arkansas presence dramatically in 2015, adding about 100 employees at its downtown Conway office and opening the Fayetteville office. In addition to the Arkansas offices and its suburban Nashville headquarters, Metova has offices in Washington; Augusta, Georgia; and Seattle. Major clients include the Department of Defense, Yelp, eHarmony, Flixster, Dropbox and Microsoft.
