1 min read

Have you heard that a micro hospital is on the way to west Little Rock?

Nutex Health Inc. of Houston, Texas, intends to open next year on 3.3 acres near the southeast corner of Chenal Parkway and Rahling Road.

Nutex is publicly traded and describes itself as a “physician-led, technology-enabled integrated healthcare delivery system” comprising 21 micro hospitals in eight states and “primary care-centric, risk-bearing physician networks.”

WLR Building LLC, a Nutex affiliate, paid more than $3 million for the site between the First Community Bank branch at 17820 Chenal Parkway and U.S. Pizza at 12 Rahling Circle.

Seller: PotlatchDeltic Real Estate LLC.

The west Little Rock project is micro hospital No. 3 in Arkansas for Nutex.

In February, it opened an 18,492-SF facility at 4701 Phoenix Ave. in Fort Smith. It also has a 16,426-SF facility opened at 212 Willie Ray Drive in Cabot in 2019.

Nutex’s expansion is backed by a $100 million funding agreement with Yorkville Advisors Global Ltd. of Mountainside, New Jersey.
