Minnesota Firm Buys LR’s Reach-Solutions

2 min read

InterDyn Business Microvar Inc. of Minnesota recently acquired Reach-Solutions, a privately held Little Rock company offering Microsoft Dynamics software and services.

“We have worked with InterDyn BMI for several years and are very excited to connect our business operations. Our Arkansas and south-central-based customers will have access to many enhanced services through this merger. We look forward to offering a greater depth of services to our existing Dynamics customers,” said Tom Major, founding president and CEO of Reach-Solutions.

The Little Rock office will remain open with all nine Reach-Solutions employees joining InterDyn BMI, including Major, whose new role will be senior vice president. An InterDyn BMI official said financial details regarding the acquisition were confidential.

In the last few years InterDyn BMI has also acquired the Progressive Group of Houston with 14 employees and several other small companies with just one or two employees. Up next, InterDyn BMI plans to purchase a Florida company to add to its network, said Mark Torguson, the company’s marketing director.

With Microsoft working on consolidating its partners, the company has established new rules and conditions to allow partners to remain certified and obtain software discounts; this has some smaller partners looking to join larger Microsoft partners such as InterDyn BMI, Torguson said.

“The merger enables us to serve a larger customer base, achieve improved operating efficiency and provide a wider range of IT software and services to organizations throughout the U.S. central region and nationally,” said John Hendrickson, CEO at InterDyn BMI. “Particularly in this challenging economy, customers want the convenience of working with one trusted firm that can develop and integrate solutions across the entire Microsoft stack of technology.”
