Engineering firm Trekk Design Group LLC of Kansas City, Missouri announced the opening of an office in Bentonville.
The office at the Beau Terre Office Park, the company’s ninth U.S. location, has a staff of five offering expertise in civil and wastewater engineering and field services.
Trekk plans to add additional staff and expand its service offerings in the near future, the company said in a news release.
Lisa Walters will oversee the new office, serving as Trekk’s water systems market lead. She joined the company in 2022 and has more than 20 years of wastewater and civil engineering experience.
“An office in northwest Arkansas has been in our sights since we began serving the market several years ago,” Kimberly Robinett, CEO and managing partner of Trekk, said in a statement. “With the tremendous growth and opportunity in the area, coupled with several of our staff already residing in the region, the timing felt right to put down roots in Bentonville. We look forward to bringing our holistic, commonsense solutions to the area.”
Trekk’s recent projects include an outer road conversion design-build off Interstate 49 in Grandview, Missouri; a stormwater streambank stabilization design project in St. Louis; and the reconstruction of a bridge over Interstate 435 in Kansas City.
