An investor in downtown Little Rock real estate added to his holdings in a recent $325,000 transaction. Rusty Thompson purchased three parcels along East Ninth Street from the Schlereth Family LLC, led by John Schlereth.
The properties include the 1,086-SF Mr. Sud’s Detailing at 900 E. Ninth St., Hot Rods automotive center at 910 E. Ninth St. and an adjoining vacant lot.
We understand that Thompson acquired the trio as an investment with an eye toward future redevelopment of the 0.8-acre combined property.
By our count, this is Thompson’s fourth buy in downtown Little Rock. The earlier ones were MacArthur Commons, a 59-unit apartment project at 414 E. Capitol Ave.; St. Clair Apartments, a 12-unit project at 500 E. Sixth St.; and the future site of his Artisan on Collins apartment project on East Capitol Avenue between Collins and Rector streets.
