Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl has been selected to serve on the 2023 National Advertising Review Board of BBB National Programs. Vogelpohl is the president and CEO at MHP/Team SI of Little Rock and will be one of the 91 panel pool members. Panel pool members are selected for outstanding work in their fields and will peer-review projects to ensure accuracy in advertising and promote compliance.

Sara Drew ( EAST Initiative)

Sara Drew has joined the EAST Initiative of Little Rock as director of development. Drew has more than 17 years of experience, most recently serving as fund development director at the Arkansas Imagination Library. 


Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas has announced four new board members for 2023. The new members are Brenda Hatton-Ficklin, sales director at the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau; Andrew Norman, senior project manager at Nabholz Construction of Conway; Kay Stebbins, director of research and analytics at Boyette Strategic Advisors of Little Rock; and Roy Griggs, McDonald’s owner and operator.

Devin Bates has been elected to membership at Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard of Little Rock. Bates is a trial lawyer in Little Rock with experience in business, intellectual property, constitutional litigation and products liability actions. Golly Easterly has joined the firm as an associate attorney. She graduated from Vanderbilt Law School and will practice in civil and commercial litigation and labor and employment. Josh Hallenbeck has been named counsel at Mitchell Williams. Hallenbeck concentrates his practice on patents, trademarks, copyrights and intellectual property matters. Caroline Kelley has been hired as an associate attorney. She will join the firm’s Rogers office and focus on business, tax, estate planning and administration and adoptions. Scott Schallhorn has been elected to the firm’s board of directors. Schallhorn is a business attorney with experience in commercial transactions, finance and real estate. He will help set the firm’s strategic direction and policies and provide oversight. 


Kael Bowling and Taylor Stockemer have been promoted to partner at Friday Eldredge & Clark of Little Rock. Bowling will serve as litigation counsel to financial institutions, creditors and real estate and construction firms, as well as other business entities. Stockemer will practice in mergers and acquisitions, regulatory law and securities and investment banking. 


Chad Causey and Joe Jett have been hired to run Rose Group Advisors, a new business strategy and corporate development firm created by Rose Law Firm of Little Rock. Causey will serve as the principal at the new firm, and Jett will serve as director of business strategies and corporate development. Both will work to help clients with policies, laws and regulations on businesses.

Carolyn Witherspoon ( Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus, P.C.)

Carolyn Witherspoon, director at Cross Gunter Witherspoon & Galchus of Little Rock, will receive the Distinguished Life Fellow Award from the American Bar Foundation. Witherspoon, who practices in employment law, arbitration, governmental affairs and civil litigation, will receive the award based on her professional achievements and public service.


Jeff LeMaster is the new communications director at the Office of the Attorney General of Arkansas. LeMaster has 20 years of communications experience, most recently as the chief of communications for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage & Tourism. He will now lead the office’s communication efforts for Attorney General Tim Griffin.

Alyca Callahan ( Kelley Commercial Partners)

Alyca Callahan has joined Kelley Commercial Partners of Little Rock as an agent on its retail tenant representation team. She has experience in national account management and strategic partnerships.


Brian Shaw is the new vice president of development at Blue Crane of Bentonville. Shaw was previously a co-founder, partner and member of the board of directors of Cushman & Wakefield/Sage Partners of Little Rock.
