Bruce Martin has joined Holt AgriBusiness in Jonesboro, bringing with him 30 years of agricultural sales management experience. As regional operations manager, Martin will oversee the company’s sales, parts and service operations in Arkansas and Missouri.
Shane Acosta, Grant Calhoon and Mark “Sully” Sullivan were recently recognized by the Poultry Federation, which represents the poultry and egg industry in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Acosta, complex general manager at Cargill in Springdale, was named 2012 Industry Leader of the Year, an award that was previously titled Man of the Year. Calhoon of Intralox in Cabot was named Processors’ Sales Representatives of the Year, and Sullivan of Huvepharma in Van Buren was named Live Production Sales Representative of the Year.
Government
Chris Claybaker, mayor of Camden, was elected president and Pea Ridge Mayor Jackie Crabtree was elected first vice president of the Arkansas Municipal League. Other officers elected to district vice president positions were Mayors Harold Perrin of Jonesboro, Mike Watson of Maumelle, Doug Sprouse of Springdale and Harry Brown of Stephens (Ouachita County).
Health Care
Justin DeLille and Kim Dutton have been hired by the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation, the fundraising organization of the hospital, to serve as senior development officers in northwest Arkansas. Before joining the foundation, DeLille was director of development for the Walton Arts Center, and Dutton was executive director of the Fayetteville Area Community Foundation.
Legal
Bilenda Harris-Ritter has been chosen to serve a two-year term on the board of directors of the National Organization for Victim Assistance. Harris-Ritter is a partner at Ritter Law in Maumelle and is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She previously served on the Parents of Murdered Children National Board of Trustees and has been working to protect crime victims’ rights since her parents were murdered in Stone County more than 30 years ago.
Adam Reid has been hired as of counsel at the Barber Law Firm in Little Rock. Reid will be a member of the firm’s business and corporate practice and tax and estate planning practice. Before joining the firm he was an attorney at Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard PLLC.

Shawn Solloway has been elected president of the Sales & Marketing Executives International Arkansas board of directors. Solloway, who is president of Exit Marketing in Little Rock, served on the SMEI board as member at large and programs chair before becoming president.
Stephanie Drangle has been hired as project manager at Thoma Thoma of Little Rock. Prior to the move, Drangle was with Martin-Wilbourn Partners and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University in New Orleans.
Real Estate
Randall Moore was recently elected to a two-year term on the board of directors of the Certified Commercial Investment Members Institute, a commercial real estate association. Moore is vice president of Terry Moore & Associates Inc. in Little Rock and has 11 years of experience in commercial real estate.
Scotty Adams has joined Lance Levi Realty & Auction in Little Rock as a real estate agent.
