Muhammad A. Kahn
Muhammad A. Kahn, a medical oncologist and hematologist, received his medical degree in 1999 from the Aga Kahn University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He later completed his internship and residency in internal medicine as well as his fellowship training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
In addition to treating thousands of patients in Arkansas for more than 10 years, Kahn is certified by the American Board of Medicine in hematology and oncology and serves as a member of the American Society of Oncology, an organization for physicians specializing in cancer treatment.
As chief medical information officer of the White River Health System in Batesville, Kahn will collaborate with different physicians to change and simplify the flow of electronic health records, which will decrease work for staff and improve the quality of patient care. “I am excited about the opportunity to make EHR a user-friendly tool for my fellow physicians,” Kahn said. “It supplies [health care professionals] with an enormous amount of a patient’s health information, which allows us to diagnose and devise a treatment plan in an efficient and timely manner.”
