
David L. Goebel and Rosemary Turner have been appointed to the board of El Dorado-based Murphy USA Inc.
Turner chairs the San Francisco Federal Reserve Board of Directors. She has been a member of that board since 2016.
She has also served in many leadership roles at UPS over her 40-year career there, roles that included president of the Nebraska/North and South Dakota, Southern California, Chesapeake and Northern California regions. Turner retired in 2019.
She is on the boards of publicly traded Canadian transport and logistics company TFI International as well as California organizations The Bouqs Co. and SCAN Health Plan.
Turner previously served on the board of Coremark Holding Co. Inc. prior to its recent acquisition by Performance Food Group Inc. of Richmond, Virginia.
Prior to its acquisition by Murphy USA in January, Goebel was on the board of QuickChek Corp.
He is non-executive chairman of the board for Jack in the Box Inc. of San Diego and the former president and CEO of Applebee’s International Inc. of Glendale, California, having held several executive titles there between 2001-07.
Goebel has been on the Jack in the Box board since 2008 and on the board of Addison, Texas-based Wingstop Inc. since 2017. He also serves as a partner and faculty member of The ExCo Group LLC, a global peer-to-peer mentoring services firm for CEOs and senior business executives that has offices in New York, Portland and Washington, D.C.
