Museum of Discovery Adds Two to Board of Directors

The Museum of Discovery on Tuesday said Brooke Hicks of Windstream Communications Inc. and James Jones of Entergy Corp. is joining the museum’s board of directors.

Hicks is a CPA who is staff manager for Windstream, managing a leadership program that includes internal job rotation, curriculum and coaching. She also leads the college recruiting effort for Windstream’s accounting/finance organization.

Before working at Windstream, Hicks worked for Deloitte and Touche LLP. She is also a member of the Junior League of Little Rock.

Jones is a customer service regional manager for Entergy. Before working there, Jones worked for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (formerly Arkansas Industrial Development Commission).

Established in 1927, the Museum of Discovery is Little Rock’s oldest museum. After a 10-month renovation, the museum re-opened in January.
