
Nabholz Construction Corp. of Conway announced the acquisition of Bass Commercial Concrete LLC of Little Rock, a deal that will expand Nabholz’s concrete services in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Tennessee.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Under the deal, Bass Concrete’s 200-plus employees in Little Rock, Springdale and Cordova, Tennessee, will continue to operate under the Bass Concrete name. Bass Concrete’s leadership team, including CEO Robert Brosius, will remain with the company.
Bass Concrete performs work in a variety of industries, including industrial, K-12, higher education, commercial, multi-family, parking structures and health care. Services include foundations, formwork, tilt-up construction systems, concrete paving, and site work.
“This acquisition significantly improves our self-perform capabilities and ability to meet our clients’ needs for expedited construction services,” Nabholz CEO Jake Nabholz said in a news release. “We share a culture of quality, integrity, and safety that is vital in our line of work.”
Nabholz said it now has more than 1,600 employees in seven states and more than $1 billion in annual revenue. The company ranked No. 1 on Arkansas Business‘ most recent list of the state’s largest commercial contractors.
