Nabholz Construction Corp. of Conway on Monday announced the acquisition of Brother’s Construction Inc. of Van Buren.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

In a news release, Nabholz said the deal will expand its infrastructure construction services, allowing it to better serve customers throughout northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.

Brother’s Construction owners Todd and Terry Mooney will remain with the company “for the indefinite future” and aid in the gradual transition to Nabholz over the coming months, according to the release.

Brother’s Construction was founded in 1994. The company provides municipal and utility construction services including excavation and concrete services, water line installation, sewer and storm drainage, site preparation, ditch paving, hauling and land clearing.

The firm’s website lists recent projects including $4.8 million in improvements to Gene George St. in Springdale and $4 million in site work and utilities at the Allen’s Mill neighborhood in Cave Springs.

“Bringing the Brother’s team into the Nabholz family provides growth opportunities for all and enables us to better serve our customers,” Chris Kauffman, president of excavation operations at Nabholz, said in a statement. “We are excited and looking forward to what we can accomplish together.”

Nabholz reported $1.29 billion in revenue in 2023, making it the state’s largest commercial contractor by revenue. The company employs more than 1,400 people and has offices in seven states.
