Namida Lab Partners with Heartland Pharmacy to Offer Antibody Tests

1 min read

Namida Lab in Fayetteville has partnered with Heartland Pharmacy to offer its COVID-19 antibody testing to the public.

Namida Lab will use Heartland Pharmacy’s Fayetteville and Rogers locations as initial collection sites, with future expansions to include Heartland’s other locations in northwest Arkansas as well as their pharmacies in central Arkansas and the River Valley.

“Since we started offering our COVID-19 antibody test to large employers last month, we have been inundated with calls from the public inquiring about the availability of the test to individuals,” Namida CEO Omid Moghadam said in a news releaset.

This announcement follows northwest Arkansas’ largest weekly increase in coronavirus cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

Antibody testing does not indicate the current presence of the virus, but it determines whether a person has had the virus in the past and whether that person has developed antibodies to fight against it.

Namida Lab said having knowledge of exposure to the virus can allow the people to make more educated choices moving into the next few months as businesses statewide reopen.
