Alan Jessup has been named executive vice president and director of specialty lending at Citizens Bank of Batesville. Jessup has more than 30 years of banking experience and serves on the boards of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Saline County Planning Board.

Carla Miller has been named senior vice president and director of special assets at Citizens. Miller has more than 20 years of legal expertise and previously practiced law at James House Swann & Downing in Little Rock. Joey Walter has been named senior vice president and director of equipment finance. He has more than 20 years of experience in commercial equipment finance and earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Alec Tahy has joined Armstrong Bank of Muskogee, Oklahoma, as vice president, relationship banker at the Rogers location. Tahy has nearly a decade of experience and previously spent nearly eight years at Walmart and Sam’s Club, holding leadership roles in the areas of merchandising, finance and digital growth.

Jason England has been named chief credit administration officer at Arvest Bank of Fayetteville. England has been with Arvest for 27 years and was most recently president of the bank’s Springfield, Missouri, market, where he has served since 2022. Jennifer Baker has joined Arvest as chief information officer. Baker has more than 20 years of experience in business operations and technology and previously served as chief technology officer at Synovus Bank of Columbus, Georgia.

Lee Ann Hoskyn has been hired as marketing director and vice president of marketing at Farmers & Merchants Bank of Stuttgart. Hoskyn has more than 15 years of experience and most recently served as director of east Arkansas operations at Express Employment Professionals of Pine Bluff.
Education

Angie Faller has joined the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service of Little Rock as marketing and communications manager. Faller comes from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she served as news director since 2019, and is president of the Arkansas Press Women.

Dr. Steven A. Webber has been invested in the Arkansas Medical Society Distinguished Dean’s Chair at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences of Little Rock. Webber serves as UAMS executive vice chancellor and College of Medicine dean and is internationally known for his expertise in solid organ transplantation in children.

LaTonda Williams has been hired as chief human resources officer at the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture in Little Rock. She previously worked as associate vice chancellor for human resources at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. After working in the community, professional and economic development program, Vanessa Lewis has moved to the division’s Cooperative Extension Service consumer science team. She will work as a health program associate.

Tyler Farrar has been named vice president and general counsel at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education in Fort Smith. He has been selected to become a member of the Peer Corps as a reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission of Chicago.

Tom Hayes has joined Higginbotham of Fort Worth, Texas, as market leader and senior employee benefits adviser for Arkansas. Hayes has more than 30 years of experience and previously served in a national role at McGriff of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Catherine Brumbaugh has been hired as director of training and development at Lexicon Inc. of Little Rock. She has more than 20 years of experience in talent management and previously was director of organizational development at ONEOK of Tulsa.
