Nick DuPlantis has joined the structural department of Cromwell Architects Engineers of Little Rock as a structural designer. DuPlantis will focus on developing structural models and producing construction drawings in coordination with the structural engineers and architects.

Corey Imhoff and Nelson Santos ( Insight Engineering)

Corey Imhoff has joined Insight Engineering of Little Rock as a project manager. Imhoff was previously a senior mechanical engineer at Cromwell Architects Engineers, where he worked for more than 20 years. He has experience in K-12, higher education and manufacturing design. Nelson Santos has also joined Insight as a senior plumbing designer. Santos has more than 20 years of experience, with experience in health care, commercial and higher education design.

Kandi Hughes ( Midcontinent Independent System Operator)

Kandi Hughes has been hired as senior corporate counsel at Midcontinent Independent System Operator of Carmel, Indiana. She will work in the company’s south regional office in Little Rock and will handle corporate governance, human resources and transactional matters. Hughes has also been reappointed to the Central Arkansas Water board of commissioners for another seven-year term. She was previously an attorney at Southwest Power Pool of Little Rock.

Tommy Nolen ( Conway Corp.)

Tommy Nolen, a senior foreman of telecommunication systems at Conway Corp., has earned the Certified Fiber Characterization Engineer certification from Fiber Insight. Nolen completed classroom and hands-on training as well as the certification examination, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of fibers, network types and challenges faced on telecommunications networks.
