Nuqleous Acquires Canadian Software Firm SpringBoard Data Management

2 min read

Nuqleous of Bentonville announced Friday the acquisition of SpringBoard Data Management, a provider of retail analytics software based in Ontario, Canada.

The acquisition aims to allow Nuqleous to provide localized and retailer-specific solutions for Canadian retailers and brands. Nuqleous will also help accelerate product innovation and provide support for SpringBoard’s current customers.

SpringBoard provides analytics software in industries such as food, health and beauty, beverage alcohol, pet specialty and home improvement. The company’s platform aims to simplify complex data, automate manual processes and deliver a unified source of information.

A press release from the company stated Nuqleous considers Canada a “highly strategic” market for expansion and continued innovation. SpringBoard provides data services to major Canadian retailers including Loblaws, Metro, Sobeys, Shoppers Drug Mart and Amazon Canada.

“This strategic move strengthens Nuqleous’ presence in the rapidly growing Canadian market and creates a powerful cross-border solution for brands operating across North America,” Sam Jenks, director of corporate development at Nuqleous, said in the release.

The move marks another acquisition for Nuqleous, after acquiring both TR3 Solutions of Stoneham, Massachusetts, and Shiloh Technologies of Rogers in June. Nuqleous told Arkansas Business in September that the company envisions a combination of more acquisitions and organic growth in the future.

“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our broader strategy of expanding Nuqleous’ reach, not only across North America, but also globally,” Garrett Levey, co-CEO of Nuqleous, said in the release. “By increasing the breadth and depth of the retailer ecosystems we can support, we’re ensuring that Nuqleous remains at the forefront of delivering comprehensive solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
