Nuqleous Acquires Software Firm Interactive Edge

2 min read

Nuqleous of Bentonville announced Tuesday that it has acquired Interactive Edge of New York City, a software platform for retail insights and reporting automation.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Nuqleous is a retail analytics and space planning optimization company, providing software applications like ShilohNext, TR3, ShelfIQ, SpringBoard and Spotlight to its customers.

Used by brands including Danone, PepsiCo, Kellanova, Ghirardelli and Jack Links, Interactive Edge aims to enable category management and sales teams to create and distribute best practice analytics directly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

A press release from the company said that the combination of Interactive Edge with Nuqleous’ retail analytics will “empower” category management and sales teams to scale and deliver higher-quality reporting.

“In today’s retail environment, category management and sales teams are being asked to deliver deeper insights across more retail partners with increasingly constrained resources,” Garrett Levey, co-CEO of Nuqleous, said in the release. “Interactive Edge’s platform has demonstrated extraordinary ability to solve this challenge, with customers reporting up to 80% reduction in time spent on data management and presentation creation. This allows teams to focus on driving growth instead of wasting time sifting through data manually to extract insights.”

The acquisition aims to help Nuqleous’ customers increase productivity and reduce time spent on manual reporting tasks.

“This acquisition represents the next evolution in retail analytics,” Bill Kloza, co-CEO of Nuqleous, said in the release. “By combining Interactive Edge’s proven presentation automation capabilities with our advanced analytics platform, we’re creating a solution that doesn’t just process data faster — it fundamentally transforms how category management teams work and the value they can deliver to their retail partners.”

Paul Sims, the company’s co-founder and head of analytics innovation, said the company had shifted its strategy to “partner with other companies” at the Northwest Arkansas Tech Summit in October. Nuqleous acquired Canadian software firm SpringBoard Data Management in October, as well as TR3 Solutions of Stoneham, Massachusetts, and Shiloh Technologies of Bentonville in June.
