The Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit will hold an artificial intelligence conference Thurs., June 1, focusing on “Security, Privacy, and AI.”
The event, scheduled from 5 – 7 p.m., will bring together experts from various tech fields to “discuss the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in cyber security amid the current artificial intelligence revolution,” according to a news release.
Three sessions will be included as part of the event, which will be held at the Bentonville Community Church.
Speakers include: Sajan Gautam, chief information security officer, Arvest Bank; Rama Mohtadi, senior solutions engineer, Okta; Valerie Moring, director of consulting services, Edafio Technology Partners; Lee Watson, CEO and founder of Forge Institute; Zak Morris, risk expert mergers & acquisitions, international markets, Walmart Inc.; and Taylor Cassat, chief information security officer, Gumption.
The AI conference is in addition to the NWA Tech Summit’s annual fall summit, now in its tenth year. The NWA Tech Summit has drawn more than 1,700 attendees from 28 states and is hosted by the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce. Supporters include the Walton Family Foundation, Northwest Arkansas Council, Walmart, J.B. Hunt, Tyson Foods, Salesforce and the University of Arkansas.
