Grant Hodges
Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville named Grant Hodges, a state representative from Rogers, as the college’s executive director in charge of community, government relations and marketing.
Hodges, a three-time Republican state representative, is not running for re-election this year. He will begin at NWACC on July 13 and replace Jim Hall, who is retiring after more than 30 years with the college.
“We are very pleased to have Mr. Hodges join NWACC; because of his background, knowledge and years of service as a state representative, we believe he will be able to quickly assist the college with our diverse legislative needs,” NWACC President Evelyn Jorgenson said. “Marketing and public relations also go hand-in-hand with community and government relations, so Grant’s expertise in utilizing communication campaigns to raise awareness among the public and government officials will be vital to NWACC.”
Hodges earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Among the committees he served on as a representative is the House’s Education Committee, and he chaired the Joint Legislative Audit Committee for Educational Institutions.
