Oboh Returns to Bowen School of Law as Assistant Dean (Movers & Shakers)

2 min read

Eruore Oboh has been hired as the assistant dean for admissions and enrollment management at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.

Oboh, a former student of the law school, is excited to return to the school for the new position. “I’d like to expand upon Bowen’s strong foundation and include programs that speak to audiences law schools do not normally consider, such as community college students,” Oboh said.

Oboh spent almost three years at the University of Tulsa College of Law as the assistant director of admissions and diversity initiatives, admissions counselor and outreach coordinator. During her time at TU Law, she worked to implement diversity events, introduced virtual recruiting fairs for law school candidates and expanded TU’s prelaw program. Oboh also helped TU law attain 33% diversity — the highest percentage of diversity that the school of law has ever seen — increased enrollment by 21% and increased enrollment of women to 55% in 2019. Oboh sat on Tulsa’s university-wide Diversity Leadership Council and was the chair of the College of Law’s Diversity Committee. While Oboh was a student at Bowen, she worked in the admissions office as a senior ambassador and seasonal recruiter. In 2019, she received the TU Graduate Diversity & Inclusion Coalition Equity Award.

In addition to her Juris Doctor, Oboh studied both journalism and psychology at Temple University in Philadelphia. She graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia with a clinical counseling master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology.
