1 min read

The Arkansas Colleges of Health Education and its first college, the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, has been awarded a $2,500 OG&E Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rebate.

ACHE applied for the rebate earlier this year and was eligible for rebates on five of the eight charging stations located on their new campus in Chaffee Crossing.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations were part of the initial design of the new 102,000-SF medical school.

ARCOM welcomed its inaugural class on July 31, and two students arrived on campuse in electric vehicles. Students for its next class of 150 are being interviewed.

ACHE has also announced plans for a 60,000-SF Arkansas College of Health Sciences building that will house a physician assistant program and other master’s and doctoral level programs.
