Pasta Jack’s Corner Stays Empty for a Reason

1 min read

The former Pasta Jack’s location next to Boulevard Bread Co. in Little Rock’s River Market Ottenheimer Market Hall has been empty since February.

Since 2010, the Italian restaurant had filled the spot, which is now the only open shop space in Market Hall.

The vacancy isn’t due to lack of interest from potential vendors; there have been many inquiries, said Diana McClung, director of operations for the River Market.

“We’re just deciding what really is the best fit for this place,” she said.
Coming changes might include a reconfiguration in the hall, but the next occupant will probably still be another restaurant, McClung said.

Some announcements might come out in June, and there should be a new tenant by the end of the summer, she said.

Pasta Jack’s 2011 food sales were $55,834, a drop of nearly 24 percent from 2010.
