Rodney Slater
Rodney Slater, a former U.S. transportation chief, will join some of the state’s biggest names in the transportation, technology and logistics sectors for a panel discussion hosted by Philander Smith College on Tuesday.
The panel will address transportation, technology and logistics issues in Arkansas, and the discussion will take place from the Donald W. Reynolds Library on the Philander Smith campus in downtown Little Rock. It is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Joining Slater, an Arkansas native who served as U.S. Secretary of Transportation under former President Bill Clinton, will be:
- Ronald Mathieu, executive director of the Clinton National Airport
- Antoine Ajarrista, senior vice president and general manager, Dassault Falcon Jet
- Kristi Crum, president of the South Central Region for Verizon Wireless
- Sandy Otto, Federal Highway Administration, Arkansas Division
- Bryan Day, executive director, Little Rock Port Authority
Moderating the panel discussion will be Philander Smith alumnus Terry Esper, the Oren Harris Endowed Chair in Logistics and assistant professor of supply chain management at the Walton Business College, University of Arkansas.
