
Dr. Mallory Hurst has joined the medical staff of St. Bernards Healthcare and is seeing patients at the new St. Bernards Dermatology Clinic in Jonesboro.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and completed a dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Before that, she completed an internal medicine internship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
Bobbi Sutterfield, a family nurse practitioner, has joined White River Medical Center’s Primary Care Clinic in Batesville.
Sutterfield earned a BS in nursing at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and an MS in nursing from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
Dr. David Backstedt has joined GastroArkansas in Little Rock.
Backstedt completed his medical degree in 2011 at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2014 and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix earlier this year.
