Pizza D’Action Didn’t Sell

Remember hearing that Pizza D’Action in Little Rock had sold?

Announcements were premature, owner Orville “Davey” Davis said last week.

The restaurant’s outdoor sign and Facebook page reported the deal in January. And one of Davis’ employees, Chuck Beets, confirmed that he was buying the eatery and bar.

“There was never an agreeable agreement reached between the interested parties,” Davis said. “It was put on the sign before I knew it was on the sign.”

Davis has owned Pizza D’ since 1992. The restaurant at 2919 W. Markham St. reported total food sales of $228,352 for 2011. That figure does not include alcohol sales.
