Poinsett Rice & Grain Acquires Helena Bridge Terminal

1 min read

Poinsett Rice & Grain Inc. has acquired the assets of Helena Bridge Terminal in Helena (Phillips County) and will begin offering prices to area farmers for the commodities they produce.

The company declined to disclose the purchase price. The deal closed on Wednesday.

This will be Poinsett Rice & Grain’s eighth location in Arkansas.

COO Randy McNeil told Arkansas Business the acquisition “will broaden our footprint and will enable us to load export orders and serve area farmers at the same time. I want to thank the fine folks at Helena Bridge Terminal for giving us this opportunity.”

Previously, HBT only did custom loading. Poinsett Rice & Grain will do custom loading and offer competive prices on all grains.
